We offer access to the most extensive recruitment database of actuarial candidates in Australia
Our database is constantly growing as we promote regularly and are highly visible to all members of the profession
Our consultants have a strong profile within the actuarial profession.   The company sponsors and participates in a range of activities of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia
Via regular contact with university students we establish our credibility with candidates at an early stage
We are well known within the Asian and UK actuarial markets and have an active relationship with an overseas recruiter who is also able to help us source candidates from overseas if necessary

Advertising
All positions can be placed on our website at no cost to clients
We also advertise on SEEK at our own cost from time to time as we deem necessary
Media and specifically targeted advertising is also possible
Surveys
For the last few years in Australia we have conducted both
a salary survey for the actuarial market and
a survey about the standard level of study support offered to actuarial students

Our Processes
As standard company policy all candidates who are presented to companies have been interviewed by a consultant familiar with the position for which they are being presented and they have been assessed against key criteria and required skills
In respect of candidates we are presenting we provide a one page profile which includes information on motivation, fit for the positions, inhibiting factors and expectations on terms of remuneration
We have a modern and efficient database on which all candidate and client information is stored.   We are able to access information about the candidates and status of assignments quickly and effectively
References are usually taken following the client interview as we find this enables us to explore any areas of concern which a client has
We provide a six month guarantee on all permanent placements we make
Privacy

We have a strong policy in relation to the confidentiality of all information within the firm.   Candidates are clearly informed that their resumes will not be presented to a company without their knowledge and consent. This is key to our philosophy of developing strong trust and an ongoing relationship with our candidates. On interview by Qed, information about privacy is provided to candidates and they are required to sign a form to indicate they have read and understood this information. This form is kept on file.
