Services to Individuals

We believe in individuals taking responsibility for managing and controlling their own careers.

We will not send your resume to an employer without discussing it with you first and receiving your permission.

Job Search
We have a broad client base and can provide access to roles in traditional and non traditional fields
We give you the opportunity to consider the whole range of options available to you both in Australia and overseas
We give you access to a range of different job options either immediately or as suitable roles arise
We can present you effectively to employers and help you perform better at interview
We will actively assist you in the process of salary and benefits negotiation once an offer is received
Career and Market Advice
We provide expert career and market advice to help you make informed decisions
We will listen carefully to understand your needs and motivations
We can help you to identify your strengths, skills and attributes, the type of environment to which you are most suited and to identify career options which will help you achieve your career objectives
We will discuss your options with you honestly
We conduct an annual salary survey which you can contribute to via the website.   A report is then sent to all participants
We can also provide information about salaries, study support and other market information at any time
Our services to individuals are free of charge. All information is kept confidential - we do not pass on your details to a company without your express permission.

Our Process

(Graduates without any actuarial experience should refer to our special graduate page)

When you contact us either by registering on our website or calling us, we will discuss your needs, seek some basic information via a resume and/or questionnaire and organise to meet you.   The following gives you some basic information about the way in which we work, what you can expect from us and how we like to work with you.

All discussions and any information which you provide will be kept completely confidential.   Your details will not be presented to a company without first gaining your permission to do so
You can expect an initial meeting to run for up to an hour
Further information would typically be obtained by telephone or email, although if a significant period of time had passed since the last time we saw you or there is a lot to discuss, we would usually briefly meet you again
We encourage you to call us at any time to check progress.   We endeavour to keep in touch with you, however if you have not heard from us for a while, please follow up with one of our consultants
Your resume is used to present your details to a client.   We therefore prefer to receive a soft copy through our website registration or candidate update page as our database is then automatically updated.   No changes are made to your resume without your agreement
When we present your details to a client we also attach a profile, written by us, which is based on our interview with you and includes for example, your motivations and strengths for the role
When we have sent your resume to a prospective employer and you attend an interview with them please call or email us with some feedback and we will get some feedback for you from the company
During an active job search process please let us know if your circumstances change at all, eg if you have other interviews or job offers.   This enables us to help you maximize your options at one time
More generally we are best able to help you and to bring the right jobs to your attention if you keep us fully informed about any changes in your needs or your current situation
See our Privacy Statement for further details.
